The opening of the Braman casino is a long-time coming as it was set to open much earlier than 2022. There were three years of delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The partnership between KISS and the Kaw Nation began in early 2017 and it was expected the venue would open in 2019.
The opening day has finally come though, and everyone is excited to see what this new venue has to offer. KISS is also working on another casino in Mississippi. The Biloxi Rock & Brews Casino was proposed in 2020 and it would take over the former Margaritaville Casino venue.
The goal was to offer 1,000 slots plus table games and sports betting. The project has a price tag of $200 million and includes a hotel. COVID has caused delays for this venue and the Margaritaville property was put up for sale just a few months ago. It is unclear if this KISS fronted casino will ever get off the ground.
